A B O U T

Hello, I'm Alice, founder and designer of Red Tail Jewelry.
Red Tail Jewelry began in 2016 when I took a leap of faith and signed the lease on my first studio space. What started as a passion for making jewelry has grown into a career centered around craftsmanship, creativity, and meaningful design.
I am continually drawn to jewelry for its unique ability to combine artistry, technical skill, and personal expression. It's craft that offers endless opportunities for growth, and after nearly a decade, I remain just as inspired by the process of creating as I was when I first began. The greatest reward is knowing that the pieces I make become part of someone's story and are worn, loved, and passed on for years to come.
Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from one-of-a-kind custom commissions that commemorate life, death, and marriage, to production work for the entertainment industry. My background also includes contributing jewelry work for major film productions, including Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. These experiences have reinforced my belief in jewelry's power to communicate identity, character, and storytelling.
Inspired by mythology, nature, the cosmos, and the beauty of the California coast, I create pieces with the intention of creating modern heirlooms that can be treasured for generations.
Supporting Red Tail Jewelry means supporting an independent artist and small business.
In a society quickly bowing to AI and mass production, I thank you for being here and for supporting handmade work. It is a privilege to create pieces that become part of your life and story.
